Tony Edwards was born in Edison, NJ, and grew up on Long Island, NY in the towns of New Hyde Park and Williston Park. He graduated from Herricks High School (2014) and Hofstra University (2017) with an honors BA in political science and a minor in history. In October 2020, he relocated to beautiful and historic St. Augustine, FL where he is thrilled “A Matter of Time” is coming alive.

He first got the idea to write a book series in 2019, where he began jotting down ideas on the iPhone Notes app, that would eventually become the outline for “A Matter of Time: Book One.” When the COVID pandemic hit in March 2020, New York locked down and Tony used the month at home to turn his outline into a fully-fledged manuscript. After a year back at work, Tony now fully settled into sunny Florida, began the publication process which was completed in January 2022.

In a world of increasing negativity where teens are being inundated by technology and social media, Tony offers his time travel adventure series as a positive alternative, that will challenge them to think about the world around them in a new way. For ages 13 and up, “A Matter of Time” is a series for teens and their parents and grandparents alike, it has something for everyone.

Tony is a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus who enjoys giving back to his community and providing a better quality of life for future generations. His favorite authors include C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Jordan Peterson, and Andrew Klavan. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports (he is still, sadly a fan of the New York teams), comedy, trading cryptocurrency, swimming, hiking, going on road trips, and spending time with his dog, Henry, a 16-year-old dachshund. Owing to his Italian heritage, Tony is a huge foodie and enjoys the many amazing restaurants St. Augustine has to offer.
